How The Mobile OBD Test Works:
Our mobile technician connects state-approved diagnostic hardware directly to your vehicle's OBD-II or 9-pin/16-pin heavy-duty diagnostic port. The system scans active diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), readiness status, permanent fault codes, and verifies matching VIN information.
Once verified, test data is securely uploaded in real time directly to the CARB Clean Truck Check database portal.
OBD Test Requirements:
- ✓ No MIL (Check Engine Light) illuminated for emissions faults
- ✓ OBD readiness monitors cleared and completed
- ✓ Matching VIN encoded in engine control module (ECM)
- ✓ Active entity registration on CARB CTC portal
